Every certified birth certificate translation from Meridian Translations is a complete, word-for-word rendering of your source document into the target language. We preserve all fields exactly as they appear in the original — including full name, date and place of birth, parents' names, registrar's name, registration or certificate numbers, and any official seals or stamps. Nothing is paraphrased, summarised, or omitted.
Each translation is accompanied by a signed certification statement prepared by Santiago Pedraza, a professional translator with a University of Malta translation qualification. The certification statement includes:
- A declaration that the translation is complete and accurate to the best of the translator's knowledge and ability
- The translator's name and qualifications
- The language pair (English to Spanish or Spanish to English)
- The date of certification
- The translator's signature
This format is prepared to meet the requirements of immigration authorities, government bodies, and civil registries. We do not promise acceptance from any individual body, as acceptance decisions are made by those institutions and may vary.
Santiago Pedraza works exclusively between English and Spanish. Meridian Translations does not subcontract work to other translators, and does not use machine translation as a substitute for human translation.
