Service Details

What Each Service Includes

Each service tier is explained below — choose the level that matches your document's intended use.

Certified Translation

Certified translations are priced per page, with one page defined as up to 250 words. The translated document is delivered as a PDF together with a signed certification statement. The statement includes the translator's name, University of Malta qualification, the language pair, the date, and a signature — prepared to meet the requirements of official receiving bodies.

Certified translation is suitable for immigration applications, government submissions, academic admissions, and legal proceedings where an authenticated translation is required.

Standard Translation

Standard translations are priced per word and delivered as an editable DOCX file, formatted to mirror the structure of the original document as closely as possible.

Standard translation is suitable for internal business use, personal reading, correspondence, and informal submissions where a signed certification statement is not required.

Optional Extras

Add-On Services

The following services can be added to any translation order. Availability and pricing are confirmed in your quote.

Notarization

Some institutions or jurisdictions require that the certification statement be additionally authenticated by a notary public. We coordinate this process on your behalf. This is an add-on per order — availability and cost are confirmed in your quote.

Apostille

For international use in countries party to the Hague Convention, an apostille certifies the authenticity of the notarial or public official signature on your document. We coordinate apostille certification per order — availability and cost are confirmed in your quote.

Hard Copy Delivery

Your certified translation can be printed and posted to you by tracked mail — useful when the receiving institution requires a physical document rather than a PDF. This is an optional add-on per order; cost and availability are confirmed in your quote.

Expedited Turnaround

If you have a tight deadline, mention it in your quote request. We confirm whether the timeline can be met before you commit — we do not accept orders we cannot complete on time. An additional charge may apply for expedited scheduling; this is stated in the written quote.

Expedited Turnaround

If you have a tight deadline, mention it when you submit your quote request. We confirm whether the timeline can be met before you commit — and any additional charge for expedited scheduling is stated in the written quote.

Certified translations may require a small amount of additional time for preparation of the signed certification statement. This is included in the turnaround estimate provided with your quote — there are no surprises after you confirm your order.

Common Questions

Pricing FAQs

How is a page defined for certified translation?

One page is defined as up to 250 words. Partial pages count as full pages. The page count for your specific document is confirmed when we review it before quoting — so you will always know the exact figure before you commit.

Do you charge extra for complex layouts or formatting?

If a document's layout or formatting presents particular complexity, this may be discussed during the quoting process. Any additional charge is stated clearly in the written quote before you commit — there are no unexpected charges after you accept.

Is there a minimum order?

We accept single-page orders. There is no minimum word count for standard translations and no minimum page requirement for certified translations.

What if my document is longer than expected?

We assess the actual document length before quoting. The price quoted is based on the reviewed document, and once you accept the written quote, that price is fixed for the agreed scope.

Do prices change after I receive a quote?

No. Once you accept a written quote, the price is fixed for the agreed scope. You will not be charged more than the amount stated in the quote you accepted.
